The hoof not only carries the weight, but is also the horse's sensory organ and weapon.
Due to its very complex structure as a whole, it serves to transmit power for movement and also supports the bloodstream.
External factors such as the type of housing, surfaces and feeding play an important role, but the exterior and general condition of the horse (breed, natural crookedness or illnesses) are also decisive for hoof development.
In addition, not every horse can go through life barefoot.
In this case, adhesive shoes (permanent like iron shoes) or hoof boots can be a solution in the case of (temporary) stress, wear or as therapy support.
I would be happy to meet you in person (ideally on site)
After a detailed gait analysis and a general anamnesis of (previous) illnesses, injuries or other restrictions, we will work together, open to any method, to find the optimal treatment solution for the horse.
